Don't really know though if I buy the authorities' reassurance that these guys "pose no threat to anyone." "Carefully chosen" suggests vague criteria randomly selected by a robotic switch controlled by some Italian clerk in the vast and forbidding maze of Italian bureaucracy straight out of Terry Gilliam's Brazil.
